The Royal Ballet
November 4 - January 31, 2011
This cooperative exhibition features works by Swedish photographer,
Mr. Anders Jiras, at the National Museum of Cambodia and is supported
by the Friends of Khmer Culture Inc. (FOKCI). All new photographs
in the exhibition are by Mr. Jiras, and were taken during performances
of Sovannahong, Preah Samuth, Ynas Bosba, Apsara Mera,
and the Boung Soung ceremony at the Royal Palace. Two old
photographs of past dancers in the early 20th century and musical
instruments are from the collection of the National Museum of Cambodia.
